Mission News

Tuesday, August 29 2017

To all my friends who want to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey but aren’t sure how:

After 9/11, I went to NYC to work at the Family Assistance center. While there, I met a man by the name of Michael Beckett who exhibited an unusual gift of mercy. He told me about Christian Disaster Relief, CDR, the organization he was there to represent. He recommended my going through their emergency response training, which I later did.

What I found is that they are an impeccable group of Christians that God has called to go to disaster sites and feed, clothe, help rebuild, and share the Gospel. They operate in integrity and truly take their calling seriously. Ron Patterson, the director of CDR, has a firm policy not to cut corners. People in crisis receive healthy, hot, delicious meals, and CDR only accepts and rebuilds with quality building supplies. Teams are setting up now to mobilize the moment they can get in to help Hurricane Harvey victims.

If you are considering giving to any crisis relief organization, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE I RECOMMEND. Please help them to help the people of Texas. I pray that you give generously because your donation will be put to work to help both the physical and spiritual health of the victims! Here is a link to their organization that tells more about them and at the bottom of this page is the donate button: https://www.cdresponse.org/who_we_are

One last note: If you believe God is calling you to go with them to help, they need people to serve food, hand out supplies, and pray with people. It is very physically challenging work, but extremely gratifying. Please go to their website and click on the volunteer tab to fill out an application. You can call Ron or Sharon Patterson at their office 1-863-967-4357 (HELP) and they can tell you more.

Thank you for your tax-deductible donation that will truly help hurricane Harvey victims.

In the Father’s Love,
Judy A Bauman

Re: Israel Mission Report

Dear Friends,

It is still amazing to me that God sent me to Israel for the specific mandate to PRAY and PROPHESY over that great nation! This was an unusual 3-week “boots-on-the-ground” mission trip to be sure – with the lion’s share of my time walking the streets in the heart of Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit made it clear that it was important that I be there to “OCCUPY” the land while praying for the country and for specific people. Being in Israel prior to the elections also was strategic, as the news there and in America revealed many terror threats were and still are being levied.
As physically demanding at it was at times, I am pleased to report that Spirit led prayer over regional gates was accomplished. I traveled southeast by the Dead Sea to Masada, to the northeast to the Sea of Galilee, over the eastern side of the city of Tel Aviv, and up to the northwestern seaside of Haifa. Just prior to going to Haifa, the local Israeli news announced that Russia had eight battleships passing by Israel on the Mediterranean Sea heading to Syria. These warships also passed through the English Channel, so the UK was on high alert and Spain denying their request to refuel also caused tensions to rise. They ended up refueling in North Africa. This political situation is still unfolding and continual prayer is vital. This important development in the Middle East didn’t get coverage by US new sources. Instead, the focus was and still is largely on the election, so we need to be vigilant.

The last regional trip I took in Israel was into the Palestinian city of Bethlehem – the birthplace of Jesus. I went specifically to meet up with a Christian journalist and his friend who was a former Muslim from Gaza. This young man’s testimony was so encouraging. He also confirmed that many conversions to Christianity are taking place because the Lord is revealing Himself through dreams and visions. I pray that encourages you to keep praying for these encounters, as this is the Father’s heart for hearts to be reconciled with His through the Lord Jesus.

I must tell you, a mission trip based on “prayer” is difficult to measure. I honestly have no idea what the Father did with the prayers spoken in and over Israel. Nevertheless, since this was the Lord’s mandate, I trust they were useful in building His kingdom. While I do have peace that it was a mission accomplished, I now face the outlay for the trip. I had very little time to raise funds for this trip before I left, and unfortunately lodging, ground travel, food costs, and unexpected expenses were greater than I had anticipated. At this point, I am sadly $2100 short.

If you feel the prompting of the Lord to sow into the “boots-on-the-ground prayers for Israel,” please do not delay in sending your tax-deductible offering. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and continued prayers for this ministry and for me.

In the Father’s love,
Rev. Judy A Bauman

Mission Update – Live from Israel

“For I will contend with him who contends with you,
And I will save your children...
All flesh shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior,
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” Isaiah 49:25b, 26b

There are so many things to report on here in Israel! Since a picture can say a thousand words, I am including links below to my Facebook photo albums I’ve posted thus far. Even if you are not on FB, you can view these albums if you are interested. The photos, videos, and explanations will allow you to see a lot.

I want to thank all of you who gave donations prior to my coming. It means so much to me to have your support. It distresses me to tell you that groceries and ground travel costs have been higher than expected. On top of that, unexpected costs have cropped up with lodging. (edited 11/22/16)

There is a reason the Lord wanted me to physically be here at this time, and though there are many joyful festivities going on right now, there is also considerable darkness looming. If you sense the Lord moving to sow into this field (praying in, around, and for Israel at this significant time), please go to www.thefathersloveim.org. Scroll down to the bottom of the HOME page for options how to give.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration toward this ministry at this critical time, and as always, thank you so much for your prayers.

In the Father’s love,
Judy A Bauman

Hello!
This is a photo I took tonight just as the full “Hunter/Harvest” moon peeked through the blanket of thick clouds. It doesn't even look real! This serves to remind me of two things. One, the Hebraic calendar is lunar and it is a timetable the Lord set up. Two, just how surreal my leaving tomorrow for Israel really is! Glory! God does things so differently than we would, but He does them right.

When I think of all the miracles Jesus did, and how so many of them didn't make sense in the natural, it really amazes me. (Letting nets on the opposite side of the boat, pulling a coin out of a fish's mouth to pay taxes, spitting in mud and smearing it on a blind man's eyes, taking a stroll on water during a storm...and the examples go on and on!)

I am not sure how God's math works, but somehow when we send others on a mission trip, He rewards them as if they went. I love that because I can see how He has used my offerings given to others to advance the kingdom of heaven. God doesn't add blessings He multiplies them. He doesn't take them from you and give them to another; He gives them to all involved. It's amazing how His kingdom works!

If you believe the Lord is prompting you to sow into this trip, I would appreciate it, but I am certain He will do exceedingly more than you can imagine with it.

Honestly, what I'm seeing in the way the moon popped out for a brief moment, as if to say hello, God wants to say hello to us in a special way in the coming days. The word of God states that blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. He is sending me to be in Jerusalem for 3 full weeks. What all the Father will do through this trip - only He knows. If He is calling you to be part of it, remember, my reward is your reward!

Mission Israel Update October 9, 2016

Things are coming together quickly for my upcoming trip to Israel. The couple who I will meet there leaves Tuesday and I leave next Sunday, October 16th. Please keep us in prayer as we travel. There are a number of places the Father will have us share His love, and He has opened those doors. Today the Scripture reading at church of Isaiah 62:6-12 really highlighted the mission of this trip. Amen!

Please pray and ask the Lord if you are to help support this trip. If you are, please go to www.thefathersloveim.org/donate or go to the homepage for mailing information. Regardless, if you would like me to pray for you while I am there, please drop me a note. I’m not exactly sure why, but there seems to be something God wants to do with the names spoken aloud there. Hallelujah!

Love and blessings,
Judy

October 2, 2016 – Rosh Hashanah 5777

Hello! Grace and peace to you!

It has been an extraordinary time since I last wrote, and I have some exciting news I can hardly wait to share with you! On Wednesday of this past week, I had two long-awaited breakthroughs within a short period of time. There was something the Lord has asked me to release to Him that has been a real struggle for me. Sometimes we can love the work God has given us in the past so much, that we forget He has other things He wants us to do. It can be a difficult transition, but transition we must if we are going to bring forth the vision of the Lord!

When I resolved to obey the Father in the matter, the Lord immediately opened a door for me to go on a mission trip with Haddon and Sue Minns to Israel! They will be there from Oct 11th-November 7th and I will be staying and ministering with them. If you remember, I went on a mission trip to The Bahamas in 2010, and Sue and Haddon were my hosts. Their ministry there and in other nations has always touched my heart, and we have often come together in prayer and support of one another. This is a good fit!

Obviously, I can’t do this on my own – I need help. This trip is coming up fast and I have to raise my own support. I need folks like you to help send me to do what God has called me to do there – to prophetically proclaim God’s desire for Israel, share His word (written and spoken), and pray over the land. These are days of great importance, as the Jewish New Year 5777 begins today, October 2nd! While I don’t know the fullness of my assignment, I know His will is to be done on earth as it is being done in heaven. I come to Jerusalem in the name of the Lord. Those who send me, spiritually go with me. As Jesus put it, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

My budget for this trip is approximately $3,000 with airfare, lodging in Jerusalem, food and transport. If you believe the Lord would have you sow into this trip, please give your tax-deductible gift to www.thefathersloveim.org/donate. In the memo, write “Israel.”

If you prefer to send a check or money order, please mail it to:

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and for your prayers. I really appreciate it.

In the Father’s Love, Shanah Tovah! (Happy New Year!)

Mission News August 2016

It has been a long time since I have written you all. Sometimes when we wait to see what God will say, He will test our resolve! Habakkuk 2:3 comes to mind:

“For the vision is yet for the appointed time;
It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it will not delay.” (NASV)

Recently, I told a friend that I feel like I am just coming out of a very long, cold winter. It’s so hot in Atlanta right now, it seems a strange analogy, but often things in the spirit are not at all like they are in the natural.

One big change for the ministry that I want to bring to your attention is that we have updated our website. So please check it out. www.thefathersloveim.org
My posts will be in blog form now. In fact, Make It Loud Web Designs, the company that built the site in 2005, have converted all my posts into blog form. (This was a little scary for me...) There are still some edits to be made here and there, but I will have to do that in time. Some of the photos and links are ‘broken’ and I will fix those as I come across them. This is ‘blog-thing’ is new to me so please be patient.

One things I do want to report (on the Mission side of things) is that the water well we raised funds in partnership with Riverstone Church has been built in India! Thank you so much for your part in it. Can you imagine? I am so excited that a whole village has water this summer because we linked arms and made it happen! You can find its location here

Please keep this ministry in mind in your prayers. Thanks

In the Father’s love,

Judy A Bauman

Reminder

Right now, we are involved in raising funds for a water-well. This worthy project is about more than water. I truly believe we have a supernatural bond with the village where the well will be dug It’s a God thing!! Stop and think about how dependant you are on water and how difficult life would be without it. There is no doubt that this water-well will transform the lives of every person that drinks from it! Are you a friend of The Father’s Love Int’l Ministries who will join in to help accomplish this act of kindness? I truly hope so!

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

[Ministry needs arise daily, and it’s not practical to have fundraisers for them all. Even small donations can mean a lot to those on the mission field who face medical crises as well as other needs. Please help me help them! We have a policy not to send funds to anyone that we do not first developed a personal relationship. All donations receive thoughtful consideration prior distribution. Thank you for uniting with us and helping those whom God sends us.]

Grace and peace to you and yours this New Year! So sorry for the late greeting, but my husband and I were traveling to visit his father.

Ministry Update: What Did We Do In 2015?

Kyampisi Childcare Ministries in Uganda has grown considerably. Their leader, Pastor Peter Sewakiryanga and his wife, Joeline, were here in September. It is amazing what God is doing there and through him to bring awareness to his campaign to End Child Sacrifice and to speak around the world concerning child trafficking. Their efforts have produced an increase in child sponsorship, but there is still so much to do at KCM. They had several ministries help with the efforts for their ever-growing community Christmas outreach!

Pastor Peter is also planning an ordination service this spring for the leaders at Kyampisi and has asked me to come to pray over those being ordained as well as to speak. Several other pastors have been asking me to come back for several years now. I would love to be able to go, but I can only go if God sends me. If you believe that is the Lord’s will, please contribute to that effort. When God is sending a person to a place, I believe He will make the provision for it. (See Matthew 10:40-42; 25:40) This trip costs about $3000 for airfare, local hotel, travel, phone, and meals.

The Father’s Love Int’l also helped a two other schools in Uganda celebrate Christmas. These are people we know well, have personally visited, and have maintained contact. One was in Musisi where my precious “Momma” lived. When I met this woman, Pastor David Okecho’s mother, she and I were instant friends. I learned this past week that she has passed away. I rejoice for her going home to see Jesus face-to-face, but she was the matriarch of 4 generations in that small village, and her passing leaves a big gap. She cared for 15 children that had no one else, and honestly, I don’t know who is caring for them now. When I sent the Christmas money to Pastor David, I received a text back from him. He wrote, “Thank you for loving Momma. Had it not been for you, we had actually gave up for Christmas. May the Lord bless your life and family abundantly. Merry Christmas.” Glory to God! If I had not had donations given to this ministry, I would not have been able to give to theirs! I am so grateful to our loving Father to have been able to bless her last Christmas here on earth. God is so faithful.

The other school we helped this year was in Jinja, Uganda with Pastor Fred Mwanje. It is my hope to bless more schools visited.

We were able to raise funds for Christian Disaster Response (CDR) to help with the growing crisis of Christian Syrians when they were still in Turkey. This effort helped with needed medical supplies. CDR is an amazing ministry that goes in when things are at their worst.

We have one lady who continues to help us to send support to Vertical Life Ministries and The Ebenezer House in Bolivia. I love that we have maintained that connection.

We also sent a love offering to Haddon and Sue Minns earlier in the year to help with their ministry efforts in Israel. They are now back in Long Island, Bahamas working to clean up after Hurricane Joaquin. That has been a very difficult effort. The hurricane gained strength just before hitting the narrow Island head-on. The south end, where Haddon and Sue’s ministry is based, was hit the hardest. This many months later, they just now got their internet back! Please keep them in prayer. If you want to help, I will send them all donations sent in for them (see website’s home page). I know it would be deeply appreciated.

Book Update:

After finishing my book, Jewels from the River, I set out to write a second book. In fact, I had to pull out about 7 chapters from the first one because it was getting too big (making it more expensive to buy). I have been working on it; however, after an onslaught of family and health issues that have demanded my attention, I am still not through the initial writing process. The chapters in this book are much more intense and speak to the direction of the church, so I want to make sure I carefully convey what I believe the Lord has shown me. Remember, in these visions I represent the Church. If they were just for me, I never would have shared them publically. Please pray for me that I would not only be able to finish the 2ndbook with everything going on, but that doors would open for me to teach and impart the Father’s love. It is my prayer that I only speak what the Father has sent me there to speak and pray what He would have me pray. It’s my hope to bring hot, fresh bread from heaven to serve to the people where I’m sent and to lift the name of Jesus! The greatest harvest is yet to come and there is so much to do. If you want to hear some of my teachings, go to http://thefathersloveim.org/live_messages. You can only listen to these on a computer, not a mobile device as it uses Adobe Flash to operate.

Let Us Seek His Face!

While 2015 was full of challenges, God has been faithful. It is my hope to better follow and obey Him this year. Though it seems like I am still only throwing pebbles in an ocean of need, this is what I know: There is only One Savior and His name is Jesus! The Bible doesn’t tell us to seek God’s hand, but it repeatedly urges us to SEEK HIS FACE! If I have anything to impart, it would be this truth: WE MUST SEEK HIS FACE all of our days! By doing this, we will be able to know where God is directing us. We will hear what He is saying so we know what to speak to encourage others in Christ; we will feel and even smell His presence to know when He is moving so that we can move with Him. Come! Taste and see that the Lord is good! This is my prayer for you and for me. Let us pray and edify each other and those around us in Christ Jesus. Amen!

In the Father’s love,
Rev Judy A Bauman

P.S. I forgot about the water well, but you can read about that below.

As we prepare for Christmas, please remember us in your giving. The Christmas Dinner outreach in Kyampisi, Uganda has brought hundreds to the Lord and the region, which was once steeped in ritualistic witchcraft, is now enjoying godly transformation! We are so thankful for this, but do not want to rest on our laurels. So please, send a donation today so the leaders there can better plan this wonderful community event.
(Click link to the left for PayPal giving or go to Home page for mailing instructions.)

Thank you for your prayerful consideration.

Blessings!
Judy

Mission Update: Project Water Well – A Prophetic Connection!

Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. Ecclesiastes 11:1

Even before I saw children in Uganda trying to collect filthy water from the ditches, I have wanted to see clean water available to those who do not have it. In 2009, because of God’s favor, I was able to distribute 1,000 LifeStraws™ to Ugandan schoolchildren. Then just before Christmas 2010, my firsthand account of Pastor Peter Sewakiryanga’s work in the village of Kyampisi swayed the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale to build a water-well there. I cannot describe the JOY that filled my heart when I heard that news! Glory to God!!!

So you can imagine my excitement when my pastor, Scott Westbrook of Riverstone Church, recently shared a project to raise $4,800 for a water-well! As he was describing it to the congregation, I wondered if the friends of The Father’s Love Int’l Ministries would join in to help accomplish this act of kindness. Once the funds come in for this project, the ministry who commissions the digging of the wells will then let us know its location.

Here is what I am seeing prophetically through this united effort: I believe God is going to connection us to a community that we don’t yet know! It is my prayer that you will join in this effort, and then watch and see what the Lord does through it.

Let me leave you with this sweet testimony. One of the women at Riverstone Church shared how her eight-year old son proudly gave her 7 pennies for the project. He announced, “The water-well can now be built!” His mother explained it would take more than 7 pennies, but the best thing for him to do was to pray and ask God how much he was to give. (I love her wisdom!) He came back later with his piggy bank in hand and reported the Lord said to give it all. The boy then told his five-year old sister, “It feels SO GOOD to give so that other children can have clean water!” She in turn brought her piggy bank to her mom and gave her the money she had been saving for a toy. As she shared, I don’t think there wasn’t a dry eye in the church. It’s no wonder that Jesus urges us to come to Him as a child!

My question is simple; will you do as these children did and ask God if you are to help with this village’s miracle? If the Lord asks you help with the building of this water-well, please go to www.thefathersloveim.org to give through PayPal with a credit or debit card. If you prefer to send a check or money order, mail it to The Fathers Love Int’l, PO Box 1573, Buford, GA, 30542. Please memo “water.”

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration. I hope to hear from you soon!

In the Father’s love,
Judy A Bauman
