Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do you share prophetic messages you call "Jewels from Judy"?
The Lord has entrusted me with these exhortations, dreams, and visions. They each have important messages for the Church (God's ekklesia). Honestly, I am compelled to share them. As it is written in Habakkuk 2:2 "Write the vision and make it plain so the reader can run with it." We are to "run" with God reveals to us.

  • Can you tell me more about the ministry the Lord has given you to do?
First, the Lord has made it clear that I am to share how His love will break through grief, rejection, and loneliness. Too many people believe God is waiting to punish them, when instead; it is His desire to restore us to Himself. The Father loves us. He desires to draw all people to Himself through Christ Jesus. Second, I am to release the prophetic word, which is the testimony of Jesus, into the lives of those whom I'm sent. Some people wait for years before doing what the Holy Spirit has spoken to them. They wonder if God really has called them or if they are imagining it. The prophetic word has a way of giving a person confidence like nothing else can. It blesses even the most seasoned Christian when receiving prophetic confirmation from the heart of God. Third, I am to demonstrate God's love by fulfilling the mandate found in Matthew 25:40 - whatever I do to others, I do it to Jesus. I cannot teach the love of the Father without demonstrating it. This is where the call to raise monies for orphans has come in and this is what I believe God the Father has beckoned me not to neglect. For me to see needs on the mission field, and then turn a blind eye, is outside of the Father's love. For me, it is unthinkable. I cannot teach on God's love without showing it whenever possible.

  • How do you pray?
The most important thing I have learned about prayer is that it is not just us talking and saying "amen" when we are finished. Praying means to commune with God. If we don't wait on Him, then is it really prayer? Conversation is not one way, so it is very important to listen. While God doesn't always answer us right when we ask something, if we wait until He releases us, we can trust the answer is on its way. The other part of that is being willing to receive the answer He gives and who He gives it through. It can be a very unlikely source at times!

  • Where are you called?
I have learned not to limit God. Truly, I want to go everywhere. I love people all over the world, and if the Lord opens the door, I will walk through it. However, I will not go if I have not heard a directive from Him. I know His voice and another I will not follow.

  • Why do you share dreams and visions?
I have always been a vivid dreamer. When I surrendered myself to Jesus He showed me that He had been speaking to me since I was a child. I was 4 when I had my first memorable dream, and I remember it as if I had it last night. I was always searching for someone to tell me what my dreams meant. The Lord spoke to my heart one day and said if I would write them to the best of my ability, He would interpret them for me. I was thrilled! The Lord did not disappoint. Then in 2005, the Holy Spirit started giving me prophetic words and I felt like I had tapped into the heart of the Father. The Lord took me through a very intense time of emotional healing, so I asked Him to give me something to give the church. In a way it was like when Jacob had been wrestling with the angel and would not release him until he blessed him. I did not want to go through that horrific struggle without there being a blessing. I knew others had the same types of wounds and needed to be healed too. My wounds had prevented me from trusting God as Father. Interestingly, through this internal healing The Father's Love Int'l Ministries was birthed!
