Being Knit Together: A Simple but Profound Word from the Lord
"Focus on My love for you and how I am knitting My body together. As in your mother's womb you were knit, I am knitting My body of believers into a body that will live and move and have their being in Me
"Paul wrote to the Ephesians that My body is joined and fit together. Each joint supplies what is needed for the whole. When each part does its share, the whole body is edified. My love will shine through you to each other and then out to the world covered in gross darkness. The light in My body, when you move as one, will overwhelm the darkness. Do not be afraid! Have I not given My body the keys to the kingdom of heaven - to the house of David?" Selah
My Reflections:
THE BODY of CHRIST Strongs Concordance G #3196 melos: belonging to the whole, was used in antiquity of instruments of war and implements ("working parts") of a ship; #4983 sóma: member belonging to a whole, physical body, used figuratively of the mystical Body of Christ (= the Church, the one people of God),
A number of years ago, the Lord showed me a giant man standing up from the ground that began walking throughout the earth. I saw people swiftly taken up and placed into different parts of the huge man's body as He walked throughout the earth! I was filled with joy when I saw this brief but memorable vision. I knew the Lord was giving me a picture of the church, His beloved ekklesia, being brought together as one body - with Christ as the head. As people were added to the church, the more territory he covered. He walked in the same manner we've heard that the American folk hero, Paul Bunyan, walked - with huge steps. The difference was this man could encompass a whole continent or ocean with one stride!
When the Holy Spirit was speaking about each joint supplying what is needed, I saw this MAN anew. I pondered the giant man and how the people were being placed inside the Body and walked in unity. This is a favorable time (kairos) for the Body of Christ to unite for the sole purpose of building God’s kingdom. This is for all who are willing to walk in the light as He is in the light.
Jesus’s prayer is for us to be AS ONE with Him and with each other as He is with the Father. This is not ‘someday when Jesus returns for the church’ but right now. I am not referring to just adding to our numbers, but very specifically, it is a time to “make disciples” as the Lord instructed in the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20).
May He find us doing what He has called us to do in His body.

The first part of Acts 17:28 is often quoted, but I had not put to memory the second part speaking of our being God's offspring. I have never thought about us being knit together in the womb of God, have you?

Note: While the first part of this word, “Cling to Me” was something I quickly received for myself, I wrestled with “Put Boots To Your Calling.” Perhaps you did too. The chastisement of the Lord is meant to prompt us to action, but condemnation has the opposite effect and can cause us to feel hopeless or worthless. As I grappled with this “Boots” word, the Father kindly spoke to my heart by His Spirit. I pray this 3rd part ministers to you as it did for me. It is important that we wait on the Lord for our assignments, but it’s equally important we immediately obey Him when He gives us directive.

“To clarify what I said earlier: I am not looking for works that make you feel like you're doing 'ministry.' This is especially true if I've not called you to that work. The works that I want you to do are those things that are within your ability and your obligations. That's not to say that I don't call you to do things that are above your ability; however, I will give you the ability to do My will as you step out in faith. The Lord hasn’t asked me to send out a word to the ekklesia for some time. On Jan 3, He gave me two short exhortations to share. This is the first one. CLING TO ME!
“You have heard this year 2026/5786 will be a year of great revival. It will also be greatly contested. This can already be seen. That regret is not because what you said was incorrect, but because of the way you said it. If it causes the one who hears to reject Me, it may bring them to ruins. Earlier this week, in the quiet of the morning, I heard the Lord say:
“Many in my body are dry and in need of a long and deep drink from the Well of My Presence. You have heard for many years that a Great Harvest will come, but you have not seen it. You've seen partial moves of My spirit, but not the out-and-out revival you have hoped to see.
“What I am doing is more than a revival. The move of God in your land and across this globe is not going to look like anything you've imagined. I have urged you to prepare so that you will be able to pour out My word and ways onto those who have been starved and have lost hope.
“My word is bread to those who hunger. I will fill them, but you need to serve My word to them. I am their Hope and the Anchor to their soul. Will you share why you have hope and why you put your trust in Jesus? Will you bathe in the Waters of My forgiveness? Will you show a world that is dying in their sin and despair My glory?
“Let My light shine through you as one who is willing to be a lampstand on their path. Ask for the Spirit of Jesus to revive you so that you can turn to others and revive them.”
This is the picture the Lord gave me as I wrote the last sentence:
Before taking off in an airplane, instructions are given so you know what to do in case of an emergency. If the plane loses cabin pressure, oxygen masks are made available; however, you are instructed to first place the mask on yourself before helping others - especially your own children. The reason for this is that you cannot help someone else if you have passed out from lack of oxygen. We must prepare and keep preparing. Remember, Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Matthew 9:37
“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness” Matthew 13:41
The Thunderous Riders
While worshipping on the guitar, a deep thunderous sound comes forth that reminds me of the sound of many horses galloping. Putting my guitar back in its stand, I sit with my journal and instantly see myself walking down the path leading to the River. Suddenly, the ground beneath me begins to shake, and though I understand it’s not an earthquake, it’s still startling! The ground feels the way rolling thunder sounds, and I am not the only one startled; the whole forest is on high alert! In the clearing near the River’s bend, a troop of seven riders on horses suddenly appears and quickly brings their spirited mounts to a halt! They form a tight circle where their Captain awaits them on His white horse. The riders are there to receive orders and seem eager to put them into action.
Captain of the Heavenly Hosts
I recognize the Captain to be Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah. His majesty is bright and glorious; His splendor is everlasting. I see “KING OF KINGS” and “LORD OF LORDS” written on a banner draped down the side His of leg.[1] The material seems to cascade like a waterfall, and other names of God appear and disappear on it as it moves. They are names that I know well and bring me great comfort.[2] Amongst them I see “Savior,” “Deliverer,” “Healer,” “Shepherd,” and “Friend;” however, there is an unfamiliar name written in a language I don’t know.[3]
The Fear of the Lord
Yeshua turns and directs His gaze at me. At first, I am thrilled that He looks my direction until I see His face. The Lord’s appearance is shocking; His eyes are as fierce as a lion’s and in them, I see blood and fire.[4] Even though He isn’t angry with me, terror strikes my heart! The sound and sight of the thunderous riders has already deeply shaken me, so seeing the ferocity in my soon-coming King’s eyes causes my physical strength to fail me.
Even though I have experienced God’s love, and know there is no need to be frightened, I shake and cry like a terrified child. Unable to continue, I call out for help. The Holy Spirit infuses peace into my soul and strengthens me to write.
Commissioning the Riders and their Mounts
I look again and observe the Lord addressing His troops in a language unknown to me. The riders are attentive to His every word, and while I don’t know the exact strategies He is giving them, their demeanor tells me that what He is planning is imminent.[5] The Captain finishes His general briefing and then gives each one of the riders their specific orders.
What happens next is extraordinary, and I marvel as I watch it unfold. A sword comes out of Yeshua’s mouth, flies up into the air, spins end over end, and the intended rider catches it firmly in his hand! Each rider receives a sword in like manner. The weapons are unique, exquisite, and skillfully forged. Their sharp metal blades shine like rays of sunshine, and the crossguard on each handle has a unique design containing inlaid precious metals and jewels. These swords symbolically testify of the rider’s calling, history, and commitment to the King of glory.
Once each rider has received a sword, the circle tightens, and the horses bow their heads. Yeshua guides His horse’s head to touch the head of the horse to its right and then to its left. Those horses then turn and touch the horse next to it and so on around the circle. It would seem the Lord is giving them one mind for what lies ahead.
Seeking Interpretation
I ask, “Father, what does this mean?” His reply is firm and immediate. “You are seeing the gathering of the troops of heaven. This is not a natural army, as I do not do things the way mankind does. My ways are holy and right. We will bring permanent change in the earth.[6] The shakings have started.[7] At no time in mankind’s history has the earth shaken as it is doing in these days. It is in labor, crying out in pain.[8] I’m birthing something new and few will truly understand.[9] Some will even try to rebuke it.”[10]
Unexpectedly, He states, “We are finished here for the day.” Shocked, I protest, “But what about the troops?” The Lord answers with an uncharacteristically sharp reply, “What about them?”[11] Confused, I ask Him, “Isn’t there anything else You want me to write?”
Jesus fixes His gaze upon me to see if I have the faith to receive what He is about to say.[12] Evidently, He sees that I do, even though I have no idea of the seriousness of this moment. Yeshua delivers this meaty message with boldness, coupled with a spirit of love and mercy, and His words are direct and clear.
An Urgent Warning from the Lord to the Church
“Everything is already written and can clearly be read in the Holy Scriptures for those willing to see.[13] My people are lazy and want to be spoon-fed.[14] They want others to explain every scripture to them when I have made it clear they are to be workmen who can rightly divide the word of truth.[15] I Am the Teacher.[16] My Holy Spirit teaches what My word says and means.[17] My people perish for lack of knowledge.[18] They constantly engage in worldly and empty chatter that leads to ungodly pursuits.[19] Is it not written that foolish and ignorant speculations lead to arguing? My beloved has gone astray. My Church is filled with quarreling children who all want to be right while the lost look on and shake their heads. My people are called to be patient and kind to all, able to teach, and quick to forgive.”[20]
I stop and take a deep breath, thinking about what the Lord is saying to me. With the advent of social media, this issue has escalated to dangerous levels. As in the days when Jesus walked the earth, the Lord is most upset with those who should know better but instead lead people astray through vain imaginations and folly.
Drink from My Cup
He continues to reveal His heart in the matter, “Many who are called by My name are lukewarm at best.[21] They eat the bread that they want but spit out what I desire to feed them.[22] Though I have said there would be trouble in this world, many pray merely for Me to release them from it.[23] Few pray for MY WILL to be done in their lives; instead, they want Me to grant that their will is done. Few will drink from My cup or are willing to be baptized in the baptism of My suffering.[24] It is written, all who desire to live godly lives will suffer persecution.[25] My own fail to see the day and hour as one to be seized in My name. Even though My word states there will be an eternal reward for following Me, they fear retribution and loss of property.[26]
“My prophets refuse to rebuke and reprove with My grace, while hired hands invoke My name to beat and fleece My sheep.[27] This should not be so! Reproof and rebuke is never for the sake of shaming, reaping ill-gotten gains, or controlling people. Correction is for the purpose of giving hope and leading mankind to the truth of My love poured out for them.[28] As a result, My Church will be lifted and built up. You must root up and tear down ONLY for the purpose of BUILDING My kingdom – not man’s.”[29] ~End Encounter
Reflections:
This vision speaks of the urgency of the days we live in and the admonishment from the Lord not to be lazy believers. It is time to rightly divide the word of truth and sharpen our ability to discern a lie from the truth. We see daily where the line between right and wrong is being blurred, and need to be careful not to use the grace of God as an excuse to disobey His commands. We need to be gentle as doves yet alert and watchful for ‘wolves.’[30] Instead of looking for ways to comfort our flesh, we are to pick up our cross and follow Jesus daily. Let’s not consult ourselves about what offends us, but ask God what is causing us to stumble in His sight. It is time for the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the saints for the work of the ministry; it is time for all believers to realize God expects us all to be His ambassadors of reconciliation to those around us.[31] I pray that we will be people willing to do what the Lord asks of us, not out of a sense of duty, but out of a profound love and trust of Jesus – Yeshua our Messiah and King!
Concerning the appearance of Jesus, one time I asked the Lord why He doesn’t reveal Himself more as He really is. He answered, “If you saw Me as I Am, it would continually overwhelm you, and we wouldn’t get anything done.” He has proven this more than once! John, the Beloved, describes his reaction when seeing the Lord in the Book of Revelation saying, “I fell at His feet as dead.” He records that the Lord touched him and then instructed him to write.[32] While Jesus has revealed Himself as our Friend, He is also Mighty God, our Everlasting Father, the Lion of Judah, and the Creator of all things. Though He calls you and me His friends, I pray we remember the power and authority of the KING OF KINGS![33]
Praying about the riders in this vision, I believe they are the angels Jesus spoke of that gather the tares for the fire and the wheat for the barn.[34] He said of that day, “The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”[35]
[2] I have a special journal in which I write the names of God as I find them in Scripture. When I feel my faith waning, I will open that journal and read His names aloud. It builds my faith and trust in God, and I encourage you in this practice.
[11] The way Jesus speaks to the woman in Matthew 15:22-28 may seem harsh, but she didn’t get offended when He basically calls her a dog. (It is likely she had heard many such things from the Pharisees of the day.) After she tells Him that even dogs get to eat the crumbs, Jesus then compliments her faith and heals her daughter! This likely served as an indictment against the religious leaders to see Him have mercy on her.
And of the angels He says:
“Who makes His angels spirits, And His ministers a flame of fire.” Hebrews 1:7
Walking In the Darkness
It is very dark on the path to the River, yet I don’t stumble because my heart knows the way. There is no fear, because I know the Lord is near. My heart leaps at this revelation. Rejoicing, I jump up in the air, twirl around, and shout aloud, “The Lord is near!”[1] I observe that I am wearing a beautiful, mid-length, cobalt blue dress that twirls as I spin around. Though it may seem a small thing, the fact that my clothing is royal blue is an important clue. The Holy Spirit often uses blue in dreams and visions let us know something deeply significant is being revealed.
Jesus! Captain of the Angels
Reaching the base of the path, I see the Lord approaching. The Lord is wearing thick leather armor with a sword in its sheath. Though strong and fierce in appearance, it is also elegant and regal in its design. He’s taking long strides and there is an unusual urgency to His steps. As Jesus’ gait intensifies, the sword swings dramatically at His side in rhythm with His quickened pace. Beholding the glory and might of Jesus as the Captain of the army of heavenly hosts takes my breath away.[2] Following behind Him is a garrison of angels. I curtsey low at the sight of the King and this heavenly multitude approaching me and stay bowed. The Lord commands, “Arise, and come with Me.” I stand, take His hand, and Jesus escorts me to a place to sit, observe, and scribe as He addresses His angelic troops.
The Lord’s Orders:
Though He speaks in a language unknown to me, I understand exactly what He is saying to the angels and carefully record His words.[3] “This day marks a new day in the days of creation. Even rocks cry out for My return, but the time is not yet. Fullness must come to My own. They need time to awaken. They are sleepy as if drugged -- and drugged they are! Media has drugged them. Entertainment has drugged them. The world’s governmental issues have troubled the masses. They slumber because their hearts have grown weak from eating a continual diet of fear.[4]
“I Am sending you out in force to roust the saints of God, My chosen and elect. Call, call, call, beckon, beckon, beckon the sons of God, both male and female, to awaken to the revealing. Shake them out of their deep sleep and cause them to ARISE![5] Give heed to My orders and follow My voice. We will witness the great move you have heard of from old. Creation itself will also be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. Cause My Church, My believers, to awaken to the groaning that is deep within them for the fulfillment of their adoption as sons.[6] Tell them, ‘Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is seen upon you!’ Yes, the light will shine brightly, even dim lights, because of the dark days that are upon the earth.”[7] Angels numbering in the thousands cheer the Lord. I jump up from my seat and cheer along with them. He is majestic; there is none like Him![8]
Instructions for the Day
One by one, the angels receive a rolled-up scroll containing their assignment from the Lord.[9] At the same time, they are dressed in attire that will allow them to move inconspicuously among the people they are sent to help. Some are in business attire while others wear uniforms or casual street clothing. After receiving their orders, each angel salutes Jesus. Every salute is unique and expresses awe, adoration, and obedience of heart to God while also conveying a private message relating to past missions in service to their Commander. Their level of respect for the KING of kings is incalculable. Jesus also takes the time to express His appreciation by returning a unique salutation in acknowledgement.
Given the multitude of angels and the sense of urgency in the Lord’s voice, one would think this extensive interaction between Jesus and each angel is taking far too much time. In an instant, I receive fresh revelation about time. God is Omnipresent: He is everywhere at once, as well as in all times. Jesus is not in a hurry because in God is the fullness of time![10] When the Lord completes His official business with the angels, these dedicated ones depart so fast, I cannot tell if they fly, run, or just disappear.
Jesus’ Heart for the Church
All the angels except mine depart. The Beloved turns to me, looks at the angel on my right and then the larger one to my left, and hands each a scroll. They acknowledge their Lord and Commander in a unique manner, just as the others had done, then move back and stand behind me. I am not allowed to see the instructions on their scrolls. Jesus then turns His gaze to me, saying, “Be excited, dear one! The days you live in are full of promises fulfilled. Many sought your day but never saw it.[11] Tell My Church to pull their hearts away from their own worldly pursuits that keep them from My Table of Blessing. They must seek My face. There they will find their daily bread and be sustained. There is where My kingdom will give them life that they may have it more abundantly! Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”[12]~End Encounter
Reflections:
The Father wants us to know that He has sent angels to help us accomplish His will on earth. I believe it is important that we each work in unison with them in this day and hour. Creation itself cries out for believers to rise up and be who they are in Christ Jesus, our Messiah and King. It was a great honor to see the interaction between the Lord and His angels! As with all these encounters, they are to edify, comfort, and encourage the Body of Christ.
There was a message given at the convocation at CityGate Atlanta with Jacquie Tyre in June 2025 that has really stuck with me. At that gathering, Stephen Johnson briefly mentioned a vision that included a horse, which is linked below. The Lord showed me a number of years ago war horses represent the true apostolic and how it operates on the earth today. This part of his message really hit my spirit, and the Lord immediately brought to mind an encounter I recorded in "Jewels from the Harvest" called, A GATHERING OF THE TROOPS (pages 56-63).
Later, I reread it and then the Holy Spirit reminded me of a chapter in "Jewels from the River" called, AWAKEN TO THE REVEALING (pages 161-165).
The Lord then said, "This is happening NOW! Post this and let the Ekklesia know what I am doing in your day."

Stephen Johnson's message starts at minute 19 and the part about the horse starts at 1:34. His was a powerful message about the church (Oikos/Family vs Ekklesia/Troops) and how we operate. (Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce were at the convocation too. Jacquie’s apostolic message called SHIFT is one I also HIGHLY recommend. It was a vital kick off message for the whole weekend.
